Next up on our list of places we stopped was Katakolon. I finally made it to Greece!! Katakolon is a little tiny village on the water and only 38 miles to Olympia. Our first priority of the day was to make our way to Olympia and visit the grounds where Greeks went every four years for more than 1000 years to celebrate the games dedicated to Zeus starting in 776 BC.

We then stopped at a local Greek restaurant and could have licked our plates. Greek food is by far the best food in the world!!
After lunch- we walked around Katakolon a bit before making our way back to the boat for the next stop!
