Feliz Navidad

Merry Christmas!!

Last night we told the kids they cannot wake us up before 6am so of course, at 6:02 Aydin and Morgan were wide eyed and ready to go!!  We woke up Liam a few minutes later and off they went!

They were so excited for their gifts this year to see that Santa did not forget them even though we were in Spain.

Before she even looked at anything under the tree, she jumped into her chair and started reading a book that she got in her stocking.

Thank you Grandma, Uncle Mike and Auntie Heather for
SKYLANDERS GIANTS!!!

Making dinner- Mexican food!  Steve worked all day making his mothers Mexican food and it was worth every minute- to me at least... It was AMAZING!!!
We were lucky enough to have Eric, Heather and their kids come for dinner and spend the evening with us.  We are grateful for their friendship!!

Last week with Bob

Here are a few of the last week with Bob.
He was also riding a tank.

Christmas Eve

Today we spent the day getting ready for tomorrow- preparing food, cleaning the house, playing, spending time with friends, decorating cookies, and wrapping the last of the gifts.
As a Blonski tradition, Christmas Eve dinner consists of Polish perogie, soup and more yummy goodness.  This year- Steves mother did not come for Thanksgiving which means we did not make the pergoie this year :)  Instead, we opted to do the Hansen traditional dinner of Greek food.  As much as I love the perogie and a nice green salad... Greek was great!!

Greek salad

Cheese puffs (Aydins favorite)

Grape leaves

After dinner, we decorated Santas cookies and opened Christmas pajamas.

Pajama Time!!

Once the kids went to bed... Santa set up shop and made their Christmas wished come true.
Merry Christmas!!

A week already?!

What a week!!!  This weekend was quite the relaxing one after the week we just had.  We lounged around, walked the beach, ate great food, made and decorated gingerbread houses, and enjoyed one another's company.

Unfortunately the week has come to an end and it is time for Kelly, Lili and Charlotte to head home (after all, Santa is coming to their house in Florida and not here with their gifts).  This week was nothing but fun.  The kids picked up right where we left off and played so well together.  They all had such a great time- it was fantastic. I am so grateful for the time we had with the Chufo ladies.  I hope they come back... SOON!!
