Morgan is a Girl Scout.

Tonight Morgan had her Investiture for Girl Scouts. I am not too savy on the whole Girl Scout thing- but it is where she gets her patches and becomes part of Troop 400 officially. She had to get up in front of everyone and say her girl scout code. She was so proud of herself and so happy the whole night. She is loving being in the scouts!

Happy 4 months!

I cant believe four months have come and gone. Our little guy is not so little anymore weighing in at 15 pounds (2 pounds up from 4 weeks ago). For his 4 month birthday we gave him rice cereal- and HE LOVED IT!! We couldnt get it in fast enough. He has now been eating it for a week now and ready for cereal throughout the day.

just a picture we took of him at the ball field the night before...
His 1st mouth full....

He cried because I didnt spoon it in fast enough.

Last football game of the season.

Saturday October 16th was Aydin's last football game of the season. He had a great group of coaches- making it a great season! He not only was doing so well playing this year, he had fun and learned while he was playing. We are so proud of our little man and hope next year will be even better.

Aydin was one of the captains.

Visit with the WEST family!!!!

Two weeks ago the kids and I took a trip to Orlando to see the West family. Danae and Brian were our neighbors in Charleston and are by far one of my favorite families ever!! Well, almost 5 and a half years ago they moved away and we have not seen them since- or until last week that is.

We got there a few hours before their flight arrived so the kids and I went to the Rainforest cafe for lunch and walked around Downtown Disney. Their flight seemed like days waiting to see them... and As Danae put it when we saw her... REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!!!

It was so fun to see their family again. Since they have moved, they have had two beautiful babies (not babies anymore) that I was able to meet for the first time. We had so much fun seeing each other- we all did not want to leave- so we didnt!! We stayed the night in their hotel so the kids could play and we could catch up. Oh how I love that family. Morning came way too soon and it was time to leave.

Happy Fall!

I love the first few weeks of fall when the weather is just perfect!! It has been in the low 70's all week and we are loving every minute of it. Today after school we were playing in the backyard and the kids saw geese in the pond behind our house- so of course we had to feed them!

The kids went through a whole bag of rolls before we even broke out the camera- so they were very excited when we gave them more bread to throw away.

Aydin kept his safe distance throwing the bread as far away from him as possible, Morgan threw the tiniest pieces of bread which made me wonder how they even ate them, and Liam did nothing but stare and smile.

Yulee Hornets win again!!

This year we have seen Aydin grow in football each and every week. He had his best game he has ever played last Saturday.
He has played defensive end (defense) this season and is now playing tight end (offense) as well. He had 4 tackles and 2 sacs.
The whole team did a great job with a final score of 21-0.
We are so grateful for a amazing group of coaches this year and so proud of improvement Aydin has made with their help. I cant wait for his next game so we can watch him play!!

One of Aydins sacs

The other teams offense hardly ran the ball on his side- so Aydin has to chase them...

Our awesome coaches!! (Jim, Jason, Jason, and Jermey- missing in the picture is Coach Joe)
