Merry Christmas-

What a wonderful day- I LOVE Christmas!! Aydin woke up at 5:30am... wanting to get everyone up. Finally after a half an hour of making him wait in the room...we woke up the rest of the house. I dont think everyone really thought we would be up at 6 am!
The kids were too funny...they took their stockings and dumped them upside down and started to shake everything out...
Morgan was SO excited to get Woody- she got Jessie st Disney World- and had to leave Woody behind.... so when she saw him sitting at her new Princess table- she almost forgot about everything else (only for a brief moment though) and went straight to him.
Aydin was on toy overload... he kept going back and forth between Star Wars toys... Nerf guns- and of course the remote control race track.
As for the rest of us... we were still waking up and enjoying watching the kids open their presents before we started with ours. Santa was GREAT to ALL of us.
Most importantly- We need and should remember the true meaning of Christmas. Our Saviors Birthday. I am so grateful for him and for his example he is to me. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful things in my life and I know it is all because of Him. Merry Christmas to all and Happy Birthday Jesus!

Later in the day- we had some friends come over for dinner. After dinner we roasted
marshmallows and played a little guitar hero- world tour...something Santa left for us. It was a lot of fun! Everyone enjoyed playing it. Susan even took her turn on the guitar and singing...

Merry Christmas-

I love Christmas.....
Most years we go to either my parents in California or Steves in Vermont. This year we were lucky to have family come to us. I love when we have family in our home! I love his Family!! I am probably on of few who think they have better in laws than most!! But yes...its true- they are great!
Susan brought her stocking from home this year...she must have thought she was really good
this year- it was big enough for me to get in..which I did... but we did take pictures of the kids in
it that are too cute.

Making gingerbread houses....

Christmas Eve- we made our gingerbread houses after Steve came home from work. The boys worked on a train and the girls had the house. Every time I kept looking over- Grandma was pushing frosting into Morgans mouth.

Disney World...

What a great trip!! Steves Mom, His sister Heather, Hearthers husband Mike, and their daughter Taylor came into town for Christmas. We had been planning this family disney trip for months now and it was finally time! Of course due to scheduling changes with the military- Steve was not able to make our trip. We were all so bummed about it.
Thursday morning we got up early and drove down to Disney World. We had 4 full days to do whatever we wanted.. and we tried to do it all!

First park- Magic Kingdom:

Walking down main street for the first time...

Heather took Morgan and Taylor for Taylors Birthday to Bibbity Bobbity Botique. Morgan loved every minute of it!! She loves to be pampered. She wore her dress for two days in a row- until she spilled something on it and couldnt wear it any more.

Happy Birthday Taylor!! We had a dinner with Cinderella and the Step sisters... This was so much fun. They came around our table all night talking and playing with the kids.

After we sang Happy Birthday- the step mother and step sisters came and hung out at our table. They were awesome!

Friday in Epcott:

After Finding Nemo ride-

Honey I shrunk the Kids-

Friday Night in Magic Kingdom:

Mike, Taylor, Aydin and I went on a few rides while Heather, Morgan and Mom were saving a spot for the parade.. arnt they the best?!
On the car ride...

In line for Pirates-

Mike and Heather bought us all tickets to the Mickeys Christmas parade- What a fun thing to do. This was great!! They had snow (bubbles) down main street during the parade and hot chocolate and cookies for everyone who was there. Thanks Mike and Heather!

Saturday at Animal Kingdom:
Auntie Heather thought it would be fun for the kids to get their face painted while Taylor, Mom and I went on Expedition Everest- one of the best rides at the disney parks! Their faces looked great and they loved it.

Before the safari ride-
This was awesome... almost all of the animals were out and a few were so close to the car we couldve touched them. It was so much fun.

Before a Bugs Life-
This show scared the crap out of the kids. Morgan cried from the start and Aydin started screaming when he felt bugs crawl around on his back (came out throught the chair). After this- they were done with the park!!

Sunday at MGM:

Getting ready to watch Indiana Jones...

Thanks grandma for the new fire pit... we had so much fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire last night. Aydin ate at least 4 smores... while Morgan will eat everything separate- marshmallow...sneak a piece of chocolate and the snack on a cracker when the marshmallows are all gone. We are going to be having fires every weekend. We love it!

St. Augustine

Today we went to the Alligator Farm and Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. It was a great time. They were able to fed some alligators in the water and loved watching them 'fight' to get to it first.

Maximo the salt water croc

Ripley's Believe it or Not:

The kids had a blast going from 'freaky' thing to freaky thing. They thought this museum was great!

Oh Christmas Tree...

My favorite time of the year is here and I can not wait any longer!!! We got our tree this year earlier than we ever have before. There is nothing better than a real tree making your house smell like Christmas. Our tree this year is almost 10 feet tall and beautiful as ever!

Aydin was able to put the star on the top of the tree this year- he was so happy!

Beach in Novemeber...

Today is the last Saturday in November... and yet we are still able to play at the beach. No bathing suits or anything... and definitely no getting in the water, however lots of sand playing and walking.
