Merry Christmas

Bright and early at the wonderful time of 6am 3 kiddos came to wake up Steve and I.  Morgan was the first one in with arms wide cheering 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' while the boys walked behind... Liam was not quite ready to wake up so instead of sharing the excitement, he crawled into our bed and rolled over to fall back asleep (I am not sure he even was awake enough to realize why Morgan woke him up so early).
We told the older two that we would wait until 7- so Liam wouldn't be a beast.  Morgan waited wide eyed and watching the clock while Aydin went back downstairs and fell asleep on the floor of his room (made us think that he was not ready to wake up)...

7am- on the dot Morgan went and woke up Aydin then Liam and waited for me to finish in the kitchen so they could go in the living room and see if Santa visited this year.

I love Christmas-
I love the excitement-
I love watching the kids when they walk into the room-
full of curiosity, smiles, and happiness.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

even the dogs got some loving:

Since Steve was impaired... handicapped... one-armed... whatever you want to call it...
the kids brought him everything!
Still going.....
I LOVE this wrapping...
Auntie Heather- you are ALWAYS the best!!

Grandma's group gift...

Slow and precise....
She is the ONLY one who takes her time and really looks at what she is getting...
I think he is EXCITED!!!

And they could care less....
And going...
Now that they're done...
Liam wants to help Steve...
because he can't do it by himself and all- right?!

This girl couldn't wait to get into her skates...
wearing Christmas jammies and all...

Play dough time...

After we opened everything... and food was simmering...
We went for a walk on the beach- since it was such as beautiful day!!

And of course had to stop and catch whatever wildlife we could...

A starfish...

And time for dinner....
We are HUNGRY and ready for amazing Mexican!!

What an amazing day- amazing way to celebrate the birth of our Savior, together as a family.
We have so much to be grateful for... so many blessings... so much love.
Merry Christmas everyone. We love you all!!
