1st day of school!!

Today is a bitter/sweet kind of day.
I am so excited the kids started school today. They are both getting bored staying at home and both need to get back on a schedule. I am also excited to have time with the baby, get my house clean again, be able to workout (get back into a normal shape again), and have time to do my homework.

Morgan has been waking up every morning for the past two weeks asking when school is going to start. She could not wait until she started kindergarten.

Aydin on the other hand could wait! He was NOT excited about school starting.

I am also a bit sad that the kids will no longer be with me throughout the day.
I have enjoyed spending time with them this summer. I am also a bit sad that my baby girl is starting 'big' school and going into kindergarten and Aydin starting the 2nd grade. Where did the time go??

Aydin is DONE with my picture taking... I couldnt get a good one of the two of them.

Two months already....

This Saturday Liam will be two months. I cant believe how fast the time has gone.
He is already 11 pounds and 23 inches long. He is growing so fast- too fast!
It feels like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He is such a sweet baby and so happy. We are so grateful he is entered into our family and feel so blessed in so many ways. I cant wait to see is personality grow throughout the years.
Here are a few pictures of him Morgan and I took a few minutes ago.

Football has started!!

It is that time of the year again to spend countless hours sitting in the heat, missing family dinners, hanging out at the ball field, talking with other parents, cheering, traveling to and from practices and games, and best of all- watching Aydin play football!!
This year is the year he is finally enjoying the sport (as much as you can when you play in 100 degrees with full pads). He is one of the bigger kids on the team this year and had really improved over the years. We are so excited to watch him this season!!

Liam's first day at the beach...

Believe it or not- it took about 6 weeks to get Liam (and myself) to the beach. Not only has it been HOT HOT HOT here but I was not going anywhere near a bathing suit.
Well- my love for the beach won me over and finally I gave in.
Liam LOVED the beach. We sat in the water with him, he hung out on the blanket listening to the waves and feeling the slight breeze, and of course- he slept.
Aydin has been learning how to surf this summer and he is doing very well at it! He has been standing up and riding the waves all the way in.
Morgan is the same.. she loves to just play in the waves, ride on the body board, play in the sand and lay out.
We are so glad that all of the kids are beach babies- we wouldn't know what to do with them if they weren't!!

He loves to lay out under the umbrella...

My favorite 'THINGS'!

FINALLY!!!
Steve went to Universal Studios in Orlando with his sister Heather, her daughter Taylor and her friend Dana a few weekends ago and came home with the best surprise EVER-
Thing 1, 2, and 3 t-shirts for the kids. I absolutely love it!! (and so does Morgan- she has been in hers almost every day).
They all had such a great time at Universal Studios even though it was 106 degrees outside. I personally feel they were nuts for going in July but they endured the heat and came home with plenty of fun stories to tell. Steve cant wait until we can all go back!

Got to love it!
