Sea World

Yesterday both Steve and Aydin had the day off so we decided to get up early and surprise the kids with a trip to Sea World. What a great day. We got there when it opened and went straight to the rides. The kids were able to ride on the boat ride- so we all went together. Steve and I thought this was going to be a fun kid friendly ride- until it it went from cute mermaids and fish to scary and dark. While Aydin tried to enjoy it- not sure if he really did.. Morgan cried out of terror the whole time. I felt so bad for the poor girl. I think we have officially scared her into riding any more rides for a very long time. We had to but the picture of us on the ride... of course Steve and I are laughing, Aydin is not too sure of whats going to happen next and Morgan is straight scared out of her mind. Got to love it!

We then went to the Shamu show which kept the kids in awe the whole time. After we went to see every other fish and mammal we could until the dolphin show started. Of course I have to mention that Steve won a game prize walking over to the dolphin show- a stuffed animal dolphin the size of Morgan. He was so proud of himself and Morgan forgot all about the scary ride we took hours before. We had a blast! The kids are already talking about the next time we go back.

What is wrong with me?!?!

Well- this morning was not so good for me... I sometimes feel like I should have been born a blonde. Let me start with... last night I parked my car on the street and had Steve move it into the garage while I got ready for bed. This morning I was taking my neighbor girls with us to church and we were even ready early! I know... shocking. While we were in NO rush to get to church....AND forgetting that Steves truck was in the driveway... I pulled right out of our garage without even looking and yes... backed right into HIS truck! This is where I was saying... What is wrong with me?!?! Who backs out of the driveway without even looking??...well ME- of course.
So- I shamefully pulled the car back into the garage... went back inside and got Steve to have him check the damage... and of course both cars had been damaged. Now- I also forgot to mention... to those who didnt know... about a month ago- I got a NEW (used) 2004 4 Runner. Yes... I did this to my new car.

So i am going to need a new bumper- took the paint all the way down to the metal and Steve's truck... is going to need a lot more than that. I cracked a big spot in his fiber glass- which we are going to have to buy a new side to his truck... and repaint.. broke his side light... and dented the part that holds the bumper up... yes- all of this backing out of my garage. This morning really put me in the mood to go to church.... especially with 4 kids laughing the the car the whole way.

The best part.... I was reassured that I have the BEST husband ever. Even though- I thought he would be SO mad at me for doing something SO incredibly stupid- he was so nice about it and has been all day! I hope you enjoy the pictures....

Georgia/Florida game

Today Steve and I had some awesome friends come visit us from Athens, Ga... home of the Georgia Bulldogs. They were able to find Steve and I tickets to the 'famous' GA/FL game. Well- we went since this is something everyone has told us we should do- at least once in our lifetime. Since Steve and I have lived in both Bulldog town and Gator country... we went not really caring who would win...shh.
I am sure if you saw the game... the Bulldogs got KILLED!! We were in the student section of the Bulldogs and about half way into the third quarter, GA fans were leaving. We stayed of course...in the cold to watch the rest of the killing. Even though it would have been more fun if GA would have won...or at least kept it a close game- we had a great time. Worth doing at least once for you football fans! Thanks Steve and Robyn for the great weekend.
