Liam's class field trip

This week, Liam's class learned about mushrooms so we went to El Pinar to find wild ones that grow in the fields, around trees, and wherever else we could find them.  

When we first arrived, the kids played on the playground before we started the search for mushrooms.

We then had lunch and played a bit more...

The last part of their field trip was playing games... in stations.  The kids had a great time!

Halloween party at Chill Out

This afternoon we went to a Halloween party at Chill Out Arriate, an amazing outside bar our friends Ronnie and Virginia own. They had the place set up with a haunted maze, with games, music, and more.
The kids had such a great time, we had a great time!  It is days like this that make me want to stay in this dream land forever!!

After a few hours, the kids were done and Aydin had plans. Like always... we left early (8ish) while the party went through the night. I wonder if our kids are ever going to be able to hang at a spanish party.
