Mykonos, Greece

Today we made a stop in Mykonos and loved every minute of it.  Mykonos is a small Greek island with only 5,000 people.  We took a taxi into town and walked around the town until we reached the windmills- one of the most famous parts of the island.

From there, we walked back up to the rental car shops and rented a 4-wheeler.  Once we got going, we drove all around the island- first stopping at food!!  Lunch was everything we expected: amazing.  We then drove to the north side of the island to the beaches....

Our ride:

We drove down this little dirt road and stumbled upon a private beach with maybe 15 people on it.  We stayed there for a while swimming and soaking up the sun before getting back on the 4-wheeler and touring more of the island.

We spent most of the day driving up and down private roads, seeing most of the north-east and middle part of the island and eating- of course.

We of course needed to stop and do a little tourist shopping before leaving so we went back into town and walked around.

By the port:
We wish we had more time to spend here but cannot wait for tomorrow- SANTORINI!!
