Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor was another city that blew us away with its charm, beauty, views, architecture, and history.  We pulled into port arriving on the coast south of Dalmatia.  It was a tiny town that was also surrounded by a city wall.  It is said to date all the way back to 168 BC belonging to the Roman province.

We walked through the old city inside the city walls and it was stunning.  Everything about this place was beautiful!!  We walked straight through the Main Square, past the Clock Tower, Cathedral of Sveti Tripun, Sveti Luka Church, the Palaces of Bizanti and Buca, and the St. Nicholas Church making our way up... way up on a hike to the top of the fort.  From the top we were able to see it all- the city and the bay.

First ones off the boat.
