Rota and Chipiona

Over the past week, we have not ventured too far away from the base just yet (we had other things to take care of such as finding a house and moving in).  Now that we are moved in, we would like to do a bit of traveling and see the beautiful country Spain has to offer.  

Here are a few pictures of the areas we have seen so far:

Rota-
Rota is where the Naval Base is.  It is about 15 minutes from our house.

These pictures are taken of the town and beach right outside the base gates. 

It was low tide so we got out and walked around the rocks...

We came back a few days later so the kids could pay again in the tide pools but it was high tide... so we just looked...

Our first dinner out was at the pizzeria.  I have to say, although we do not know what all the toppings were called, we ordered our food and fell in love!  The pizza was delicious.  We cannot wait to go back!!
