What would a weekend be without a little futbol in your life? Well... for us... it would be boring.
This morning we all got up and headed into Rota. Since my mom had already been to Rota, she stayed behind to ride with Steve, Aydin and Liam while the girls and I walked around Rota a little before Aydin's game started.
Rota lighthouse:
Castle
Mo and Mis in front of the church doors...
Sisters:
Inside the castle
Jen and Mo
Walking down one of my favorite streets in Rota:
Not sure why... but someone must really like snails to have them as decor on their wall...
And then walked the beach:
Aydins game started a little late- so I was only there to see the first 15 min.
Everyone stayed behind to watch Aydin while Missy and I took Morgan to her horse lesson.
After Aydin's game was over... the rest of the crew met us at horse to see Morgan ride but arrived a little late...
Her new horse trainer is a 3 time champion
Here is her horse trainers place:
Getting ready to start...
Rocio and Morgan
While Morgan rode...
Liam played with the baby goat...
And then took him for a walk....
Once all of the kids sporting events were completed for the day... We went back to Rota (onto the base this time) to take a look at some of the hummers and other 'cool' work stuff... before going into one of my favorite pueblo blancos: Arcos de la Frontera.
Arcos:
Mailbox:
Active pay phones... believe it or not... I see someone on a pay phone at least 2-3 times a week in Spain...
This is a typical courtyard in someones home. Sometimes... courtyards like this will be inside one home or in the middle of a few apartments or condos. Either way... they are beautiful... and this one is in the middle of their hospital.
Walking up to the top of the town...
the higher you go... the more narrow the streets get
as you can see:
Family pic:
.... and what do you know... another jumping pic!
The kids wanted to take a jumping pic too!
At the top of the town... is beautiful scenery, beautiful church,
and....
Wait what?! Owls.... just hanging out to be held? Sign me up for that!
Liam was in love!
And so was Jen
Trina and Aydin
Once everyone had enough bird holding... we walked a bit more around the town before heading back into Chipiona...
The best part of the night for me.....
you'll never believe it....
Steve back right into the parking garage beam...
and dented the bumper...
yep... Im the worst...
but THAT seriously makes me one happy wife right about now!
