Goodbye to Steve yet again... I hate to use the word finally... but Steve is finally gone. They were supposed to leave Monday morning and didnt make it out until today.
Every morning for the whole week- we said our good byes and every night this week he has come home. This morning he work up and left home expecting to be home by 4pm. We got our call later this morning telling us that he would not be coming back. He had to say bye to the kids over the phone- thankfully our kids were just excited they were going to see the submarine pass by again.
I pray that he will have a good deployment and a safe return. We will miss him and appreciate the sacrifices he makes for our family!!

just like last time... its so sad to see the kids saying good bye to the boat. we also pray that he will be safe and same for you and your kids. we love you and will be sad to not see you this weekend. i will take a lot of pics to make you feel as if you were here.

Hubby just came home....but I remember the day he left(and the few where they almost left) like it was yesterday.
