Futbol in Rota.

Today Aydin played in Rota. They looked great and he played amazing!  This is going to be a great year... I can tell.

Baptisms all around...

This afternoon we went to the church in town to watch Cesareo and Mari's twins Alvero and Cesareo get baptized.

We are so blessed to have met wonderful people in Spain that would invite us to celebrate special events like these with them.  Their family has been great neighbors to us while we have been here- I just wish my spanish was so much better so I could properly have a relationship with them... They are so nice but without knowing any English- it makes it difficult to really get to know them and visa versa.  Either way- they are fantastic people and we are so grateful that they are our neighbors!!

Trunk or Treat

Tonight was the base Trunk or Treat at the drive in.  Aydin wanted to stay home and hang out with Michael and Ollie, so I took Morgan and Liam while he stayed behind and met up with Rokzanne and her ladies.
We arrived just in time to set up the trunk before the kids took off on a mission to get as much candy as they possibly could.  Rokzanne walked around with the kiddos while I stayed at the trunk to pass out candy.

  I met up with them half way through to take a few pictures and was surprised to see the amount of work some people put into their trunks.  

It was amazing!!

 Liam came back by the car... dropped his candy bag off... and went to grab a pumpkin at the little pumpkin patch they set up.

 I loved her wig so much... she ran to her car and brought me an extra one she had inside... 

 So I wore it the rest of the night.... 

After they were done getting their candy, the kids played on the playground, watched the costume contest, and picked out more pumpkins.

We did not stay to watch the movie this year- it was one they had not heard of and the masquitos were so bad that we decided to come home and spend time with the boys.  It was a great night for the kids...
I just LOVE Halloween!!

Halloween Party at the Wood's

This afternoon we went to the Wood's for their annual Halloween party.  Like always- Leilani went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time. 

The kids carved pumpkins, had lunch, played, painted, and swam.

All in all... the kids had a great time.  We didn't get to stay to finish our pumpkins due to tutoring and dance but the kids had fun with the time they did get to spend there.
