Sanlucar Horse Races

I am so sad that this was our last opportunity to spend watching the horse races on the beach in Sanlucar.  It is one of my favorite things to do in the summer around here and I will miss it so much.

Although the kids were not interested in going today... Aydin especially... they had a great time!!  We stayed to watch 3 races... with enough time to play in between!!

I LOVE the races!!  I wish I could come back every year just to see them. It is things like this that make me very sad.... knowing that this will be our last time to see them (at least living here that is).

Tres Peridras

We spent the morning/afternoon at the beach.  The boys had a great time surfing and playing... and didn't want to leave... their friends just showed up but I was not going to miss the horse races!!  This afternoon is the last chance we will get to see them.... while living here and I am NOT missing them.

Today was another day spent at the base pool.  As always, the kids had a great time playing with friends, swimming, eating, and laying around. 

We got there early enough they even let Liam go down the waterside... 

which of course he LOVED!!! 

Ride and Park

Aydin was playing at a friends house and Morgan had been asking when we would ride our bikes to the park every time we drove by it so today I finally took her.  We rode our bikes all around, stopped to play, and then stopped for ice cream on the way home.  It was so much fun... I should have taken her sooner. (Tuesday 19th)

Bowling...

Today the kids were wanting to do something a little different so we decided to go bowling. It seems that every time we have tried in the past few months to go- something comes up or the bowling alley is booked.  Today we were in luck... and had a great time.... eventually.

Aydin- as you can see in the picture below- was not happy with me that I did not allow the older two kids to use bumpers while they played. As a result- the first few frames he bowled were gutter balls... and he was pouting about it... so naturally I took a picture :) 

After the first game- Rokzanne and Mackenzie showed up to play with us.
It was a great time.

Aydin starting to be more fun... and happy now that he is getting the hang of not using bumpers... while Morgan is making fun of him... ah sibling love!  

I think it is safe to say the kiddos love bowling and would go every day if they could.  I am looking forward to the next time we go!!
