Gingerbread houses with friends.

Today we went to the Nelsons house to decorate gingerbread houses.  Heather made the houses and we brought the candy... and together the kids made these cute little houses!!

Ethan and Cade
Morgan and Emry

The 'older' boys did not want to decorate anything... they were 'too cool' for them this year!!
They would come in only to grab candy and see how everyone else was doing before running back outside to play...

I think he ate/licked more than he decorated!!

Afternoon at the beach

Today we met up with a few friends to have lunch on the beach and hang out.
It was so much fun... a lot of work and thinking (speaking spanish is still a lot of work for me and I still have a LONG way to go before I am able to understand everything).
The kids made sandmen, played soccer, made castles, ran around and had a great time.

Cookie baking and decorating

Today was the annual Fathers Day Out with the some of the dads from school and while Steve was gone all day and night, two of the wives and their kids came over to help the the kids and I bake and decorate Christmas cookies.
It was so much fun seeing the kids frost and fill up their cookies with as much candy as they would hold.

Liam's field trip

Today Liam's class had a field trip.
We went around Chipiona to see the different Belen (Bethlehem) displays.

We started at a day care which had children dressed up in their Belen costumes.
It was so cute.

From there we stopped at another school in the town to visit with the 3 kings:

Our last stop was at the castle.  The kids walked around the display commenting on the different animals and houses.
