Drakes vacation part 2

In a perfect world, Mike would be able to take a vacation that allowed him to live on the beach or lay out in the sun while Heather and Taylor toured around sight seeing everything they possible can.... well in Spain it is a perfect world and they can literally do both (some at the same time)!!

Monday we played at the beach all day... and after in the pool!!  We had such a great time in the warm sun and water- Liam even got in and played in the waves!!

Tuesday they went to MOROCCO!!  How many people do you know that gets to go on a vacation and travel to another country just for the day??  Well- they do and did!  While they were busy riding camels, rocking the Kasba, eating amazing food, and walking all over Tangeir, I had some of my favorite kiddos over to play.  

The Nelson children are so fun to be around.  They are sweet, great listeners, kind, and well rounded children (they can live here forever).  After a few hours of them playing the wii and watching Hotel Transylvania, I kicked them outside for some fun in the sun- or in the pool but it counts right?!

Wednesday we spent the day between the beach and pool. 

We also went to get lunch in town and then yummy snow cones I always talk about... and know they all know why.

Twice in ONE year!!

Can you believe how lucky we are?!  The Drakes are back for a second time this year. On Sunday Steve picked them up from the airport and we did not waste much time.  This time of the year is one of my favorites in Spain.  There is so much going on, so much to see and do and the weather is hard to beat.  Sunday night we all loaded up the cars and drove into Sanlucar (the whole 15 minute drive) to the horse races on the beach.  

This year we knew what to expect so we brought our chairs, toys, drinks, snacks, and everything else you would need for an evening on the beach.

As you can see... the beach is packed!!

AYDIN WON!!!  He paid 1 euro.... won 3!  Not too shabby.

After these two (and hanging out for a few hours) we decided to load up and head to the beach for dinner.  

Spaniards know how to grill the best fish ever!!

Not a bad way to start a vacation in Spain- you think??

Two days in a row!

I love that we can ride our bikes into town and grab a snow cone by the shore so much that we have been doing it way too much!!  It is one of my favorite things to do this summer!!  

Yesterday we met Millie and her kids.  While there- we were all given leis. 

Today- Steve was able to come with us... for his first bike ride this year!!
