Our first trip to LONDON!

4 years ago we met some wonderful people from the Royal Navy.  We have been able to keep in contact with a few of them and got invited by Ben and Deanna to attend the Royal Navy Ball this year with them.  Last Wednesday night we flew to London and arrived early Thursday morning.  

Thursday we hung around the house in the morning and headed into downtown London to have a late lunch and walk around the city a little.  

In the airport we saw the futbol team from Seville; Real Betis.
 Aydin had to take a pictire with one of the players... he was so excited!!

After lunch, we walked to the 5- yes a FIVE story toy store called Hamleys.
Walking in London was great.  The whole city was lit up with Christmas light and full of people!

The hunt...

The past few days we have been on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.  I am still not sure if this is the best tree we have ever had... but we found the perfect tree for our home in Spain.  Unlike the states, we did not have the full, tall, and large trees but we have a slightly better than the Charlie Brown Christmas tree and we love it.  Every time I look at it, it reminds me of where we are and how lucky we are to be here in Spain.

Futbol game

Aydin had another futbol game this morning.... and it was COLD!!  Although we were freezing on the sidelines, Aydin played great.
It is so fun seeing his progress over the few weeks he has been playing.
