Crepes for dinner?!

Downtown Burlington is the place to be if you are a crepe lover.

Last night, we had an early dinner at the Skinny Pancake and couldn't be happier! They have at least 30 different crepes to chose from; sweet ones, breakfast, meat filled, calzones, and more- with all of those great choices.... How can you decide on just one?? Well Heather and Taylor couldn't so they each got a different one and shared.

Saturday Sun day...

Today we spent some time playing in the FREEZING river in Bristol/Lincoln. It was amazing and beautiful!! We packed a lunch, had a picnic, played in the water, collected rocks, laid on the rocks... and had a blast!! I hope we get the chance to go back before we leave.

Making Stawberry Jam

So why did we pick strawberries?? To jam of course.. Aydin can go through Grandmas homemade strawberry jam fast than she makes it most years.... and this time, the kids helped her make it. The had so much fun measuring, stirring, pouring, and smashing. And yes.... it tastes as good as it looks (even better)!!

Friday Fun Day!

Today was filled with fun all around.

Grandma bought the kids this HUGE blow up ball that the kids can get in and roll around in... and that is exactly what we did. It took about two days to blow this ball up and today was the day the kids got in and played!!

We then went to the Strawberry farm and picked strawberries for the first time ever. It is hard to believe that even though I grew up so close to so many strawberry farms, today was my first time strawberry picking. Even though it was the end of picking season, we were still able to get two boxes full and have jam to make in the morning.

Along with the many fun things Grandma and Auntie Heather got for the kids, a bubble make was one of them. This is not your ordinary bubble maker, this is a bubble maker for the over achievers. We set the camera on action shots and took them as the kids were walking. There are a lot of pictures... but you had to see the whole thing.

We had so much fun doing this bubbles that we went to Costco and bought a huge bottle of soap so we can do this every day!!
