Happy Halloween

I do not remember a year when we have had so many parties and trick/trunk or treating opportunities.  The kids lucked out big time this past week.  After our Halloween party here at the house, we had a church Halloween activity, trunk or treat at the drive in, and now trick or treating around base housing.

Following our Halloween 'tradition' we started last year, we went to the Price's house for a potluck dinner prior to sending the kids on the hunt for candy.  Dinner was great and the kids had a great time playing with their friends in their costumes.

Way to wait until the last minute... We finally carved our pumpkins today... on HALLOWEEN!!  I must say- I love how they turned out.  The kids had so much fun.

Shorter....

Today was the day when Aydin cut his hair.  Every year around October (beginning of soccer season) Aydin decides he wants a cut and every year I think he will only want it to go a little shorter but every time I am proven wrong.  So- here are the before and after pictures of how long his hair was and what a huge difference shorter hair makes.

Fiesta de Halloween

Tonight was the night!!  Mom and I rushed to get the last minute touches on the decorations, finish the food, bring it to the tables and get our costumes on before the party began.... but our friends could not wait to come over and started coming in before I had time to take all of the pictures I wanted.  Everything worked out and I have plenty of pictures... every one had a great time and the kids ate all the candy they could!!  Tonight was full of fun, food, and more.
