This weekend was fabulous!! Amy and the kids drove down from Virgina Beach Thursday and stayed until Monday afternoon. We has so much fun having them here and wish they didn't live so far away!!
Friday- the kids hung out around the house for most of the day playing out front... We then ventured over to Target with all six kids and realized we have probably made a mistake letting them walk the toy isle by themselves (Kai is 12 for all of you that gasped for air).... but walking was not in their nature... those kids were running up and down the isles like they were racing one another. How embarrassing...
Boys playing against each other on their DS's
Ladies had a fashion show with my shoes....
Auntie got the ladies matching blankets...
We then went out to our FAVorite Mexican restaurant in the whole area... Pablos. They are like family there and the food is AMAZING!!
Saturday was Aydin's last basketball game of the season (before playoffs). I cannot believe how good this game was... as real nail bitter (if I bit my nails). We showed up 30 after the game started... and MISSED Aydin's basket!! Bummer!! They unfortunately lost by one against the Yulee Horents.... down to the last second!! Final score: 38-37
From the game we went to Orlando. We went straight to Sea World and had a blast! The kids thought it would be a great idea to sit in the soak zone... so Amy and I let them. We sat further up and LOVED watching Liams expressions as he watched the Shamu show.
They made the cutest hand art...
Morgan: bird
Aydin: shark
Liam: turtle
Waiting for us to let them take off and play in the nets...
Liam, Kainoa and Aydin
SOAK ZONE!!! Morgan changed her mind when I came to get the picture... and then went back down before the show started...
FISH!
She is SO GOOD!!
Right after the ride....
The older kids went to the arcade while Morgan and Liam went on the Merry Go Round...
inside the aquarium...
Looking at the sharks:
From there we headed to eat at the Perez favorite: Sweet Tomatoes and then to the hotel.
He had at least 4 baked potatoes...
The kids loved swimming in the pool until 10pm... and again in the morning.
Marco Polo:
Kai was getting Lady Lelani to laugh so much!!
She is so cute...
We packed up and headed to IKEA late Sunday morning and walked around... that is until Lelani was ready to hit the road. Once she started acting tired... we hauled it out of the store and headed home. Good thing too- both Liam and Lelani slept the WHOLE way home!! Victory!
Sunday afternoon and Monday- the kids played and enjoyed spending time with one another. I am so glad they came out for the weekend.... We miss our cousins way too much!!
